HYDROSOLS

Artemisia Hydrosol commonly known as White Sage and Owyhee. A wonderful blend of sweet floral and fruity scents. The essential oil is high in esters. The distillation process allows the esters to continue into the Hydrosol, which gives it the soothing and anti-inflammatory properties for your skin. I personally like the calming, mildly sedating nature this Hydrosol has on the mind and spirit. Use it to mist your face, inflamed skin, and last but not least on your pillow for a relaxing night.
INCI Name: Artemisia ludoviciana (Artemesia) Water

Clary Sage Hydrosol is obtained by distilling the flowering tops of Salvia sclarea. It has been described as having a slight Earl Grey tea (bergamot) aroma. Aromatherapists have used Clary Sage Essential Oil for its balancing, euphoric, aphrodisiac, and revitalizing qualities. The Essential Oil can also be used for wrinkles, acne, inflammation, dandruff, and hair loss. It has the ability to ease anxiety and stress, providing a sense of calm. Wonderful to curb the irritability that often comes with PMS. Our Clary Sage Hydrosol is gently aromatic and shares some of the same characteristics of the essential oil. INCI Name: Salvia sclarea (Clary Sage) Water

Labrador Tea Hydrosol (Organic) is sometimes known as Organic Greenland Moss Hydrosol or Organic Ledum Hydrosol. It has a sharp yet sweet herbaceous aroma. Labrado Tea Hydrosol has been said to be the most powerfully therapeutic of all hydrosols. It possesses strong sedative properties and can be helpful in bringing upon a sense of well-being and helping to combat insomnia.
Labrador Tea has been recommended to use in helping those who have over indulged on alcohol or those fighting addictive behaviors.
Avoid for use with children or during the first two trimesters of pregnancy.
INCI Name: Ledum groenlandicum (Labrador Tea) Distillate

Lavender Hydrosol: Lavender Hydrosol has a very light, wonderfully fresh, clean scent of lavender. Lavender has been a favorite for centuries. Is one of the more relaxing and balancing hydrosols. Lavender is an "adaptor," adapting itself to your body and your psyche's needs, soothing or revitalizing as needed. Use in the home, car or office to promote calmness, works wonderfully for anxiety, depression, irritability and stress.
The soothing and antiseptic qualities make lavender useful in all skin care. It is an excellent coolant for minor burns, rashes, and insect bites. Lavender has always been recommended for fragile or damaged skin. Use before and after shaving to prevent inflammation and ingrown hairs. For external use only.

Melissa Hydrosol has a pleasant, uplifting, lemony scent. Melissa or lemon balm herb, as it is commonly called, is traditionally known for its calming, yet uplifting effect. The Hydrosol is also calming and used to help balance one’s emotions.
Many use this hydrosol to ease morning sickness and other pregnancy discomforts. It’s anti-inflammatory properties have been used to help ease PMS and menstrual discomfort.
Melissa has also been recognized for its antiviral and antibacterial qualities. The anti-viral power of Melissa Essential Oil is well documented. The hydrosol may be of use in a compress to help ease many skin irritations including; rashes, sunburn, eczema, herpes sores, shingles, poison oak and poison ivy. For external use only.

Mountain Mint Hydrosol: You already know mint has deliciously refreshing and cooling qualities. Mountain Mint does the same but on a more sophisticated level. Still very aromatic, yet softer than one might expect. You are going to love this one!! For external use only. INCI Name: Pycnanthemum (Mountain Mint) Water

Neroli Hydrosol: Neroli hydrosol smells mild and sweet. Pure heaven. Heads-up, a little goes a long ways. Neroli has been used throughout the ages in many cultures as a deodorant; it is commonly used in perfumes; in China it was used in make-up. As an antiseptic which was used for minor inflammations and was also used to kill germs. Neroli receives its name from the Italian city of Neroli, where it was used to ward off a plague in the 17th Century.
Neroli hydrosol is mildly astringent and may be the hydrosol of choice for oily skin. Also good for mature skin, however, not recommended for people with dry skin.
I read of several cases where it is spritzed on dogs and cats when taking them to the vet or groomer or other stressful times. If you think that’s great about pets, just wait until you use it when anyone around you is feeling anxious or stressed. Instant release.
It has also been used as an anti-depressant which is good for the mind. It is often recommended for people suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder and to relieve stress or emotional upsets. It works wonders when sprayed on a dampened cloth and gently wipe the face of the over-excited person. Anyone from babies to the elderly. It calms without causing sleepiness. Makes a wonderful pillow mist to help soothe and calm enough to allow a comfortable rest. For external use only.
